Here we have a Cordovox accordion and amplifier. I don’t know much about such a thing so I’m selling it as is. The accordion appears to function as it should with exception to a couple of the black buttons that stay in when you push them in. The amp has what looks like the original cables and some sort of pedal in the back. The case looks original to the instrument however, it does have a hole in the shroud and a few light scuffs. These items carry some weight so they will ship separately. I’ll try to answer any question as best I can.

Cordovox Super V accordion in really nice condition. It says N 650/23 Made in Italy on the back and Genuine Handmade Reeds on the front. There are a few draker marks on one of the keys. It looks like two of the buttons have a star-like pattern carved on them to serve as a locator. The strap is functional but the ends have been taped. Winning bidder will pay actual shipping.

This Cordovox set includes, accordion, amp and tone generator.  It has been in a climate controlled environment since it was purchased by my 92 year old mother back in the 70′s.  She was not a professional musician, so the equipment was not moved from place to place.  She just played it at home.  It is in pristine condition and has all of the cables as well as an instruction book that came with it.  She played it 6 months ago before moving to an assisted care facility after the death of my dad.

Here is a clean, used Cordovox accordion. It is a model CG6-M. It was made in Italy. I purchased this from the estate of the original owner. He was known as Little Andy and had a Polka band as a teenager back in the 50′s. The accordion is in excellent condition, with very few signs of wear at all. There are no accessories to go with this, unfortunately they are long gone. This is just the accordion and the case, with case cover. The organ is in great shape. There are no cracks or chips. All of the switches work. All of the keys and buttons are functional. The bellows are soft and flexible. It you pick up the accordion by the back strap, the bellows just stay compressed, until you push the small release button on the back. The straps are in good condition. The only thing that needs to be cleaned up are the snaps on the side straps and the snap covers on the pad on the bottom. Two of the buttons on the back side of the accordion are discolored. This was stored in a basement and does smell of mildew. I don’t think the accordion smells so bad, but the case is rough and stinky. The hinges are weak and the latches are both broken. The interior still provides good cushioning for shipping, and the cover fits snuggly so it holds the case together and closed. This is a nice accordion, in amazing condition. I ship using USPS Priority mail. I will combine multiple wins. I ship once or twice a week, not everyday. Please be aware shipping costs have gone up recently. Circa 1950′s, comes in original box with owners manual and schematics. Schematics are very detailed of every component within the system. Notes have been added to the owners manual and schematics for system repairs. Easy access to tone generator and amplifer by removing back covers. Accordion has had all keys tested, all keys function properly,41 treble keys, 120 bass buttons, 4 sets of bass reeds, 6 treble registers, and 3 bass registers.. 1 tone generator with 2 additonal inputs for microphone, and volume control. 1 amplifier with two 12″ Jenson speakers, 35 Watt output, and additional jack for additional speakers. Accordion can be played with or without being connected to tone generator, or be played as an organ. All components have a designated resting spot in the amplifier. Power supply must be “jimmied” into the right position to allow power in system, system must warm up before use. Connector from tone generator to accordion has minor damage (see picture). Documentation (owners manual, schematics, repair notes) fit into folder which is place inside the amplifier. Overall, accordion functions properly is in very good condition, but has had minor repairs over the years. System has very detailed documentation including schematics for all circuits/components, various uses of the accordion (ways to make it sound like different instruments), and an FAQ for system repairs.
